The Boss is our men's boot tree, and it takes charge of keeping boots in great shape! It leads the way with its solid hindfoot (heel and ankle) formation which helps prevent cracks and creases in the leather. And, because it's made of aromatic cedar, it absorbs moisture from boots and prevents embarrassing odors while deodorizing them with cedar's natural scent. Its construction is superior for use in all boots, including motorcycle, hunting, hiking, work and snow boots. There's no doubt — The Boss rules!

  • Features a solid heel/ankle formation to maintain boot shape
  • Split toe and spreader plate expand to accommodate multiple widths
  • Made of all-natural aromatic cedar that was grown in the USA
  • Absorbs moisture from boots to prevent nasty odors
  • Deodorizes boots with its fresh scent
  • No artificial scents or perfumes
  • Provides maximum protection of leather linings

    Some assembly required

The long story short, I have the exact boot that is in the picture. Allen Edmonds Normandy boot Kudu leather. The problem is the hard edges of the wood along the ball of the shoe tree's foot press out against the soft kudu leather and leaves a hard depression. So I had to break out the belt sander and sand those edges down basically reshaping the outside slope of the toes. It took all of 10minutes for both. I am satisfied now. Now that I think about it.. I probably voided the warranty

    RW Iron Ranger's soul mate

If your looking for a shoe tree for your Red Wing Iron Ranger, look no more. This is it. I got a 7 wide and bought a medium and it fits like a glove. Worth picking up. The quality is amazing. Worth it and a must have. Stop reading and go buy it now. Last time I check they go out of stock quickly. It only means that it's really a great product plus lot's of people bought alot of (iron ranger) boots this holidays! lol.

    I like them but...

So I ordered 8 total pair! Spent quite a bit of money, I must say. But I wanted my quality boots protected. Overall, I am happy and satisfied. They smell great, and I like the way my boots look with the trees in them. They fill out my Allen Edmonds boots awesome, but on some of my other pairs, it feels like I should have went to the next size up. I wear 10.5 D, and the trees almost feel like they fall into the boot. Just doesn't feel overly snug, except in the Allen Edmonds. On Fryes, Dr. Martens, and RedWings, they all felt like I could have benefited from the next larger size. Also, the large, vertical section of cedar, which is why we buy these vs. a "shoe" tree, doesn't really form fit the sides of any of my boots. If the boot was totally going to collapse, I suppose it would catch it, but as far as keeping the form, I think a shoe tree with some type of western-boot shoe stretcher that actually pushes out slightly on the vertical portion of the boot would keep the form better. But, as I say, I know they look great in there and will undoubtedly help. I think the back, large heel/vertical section could be made a little fatter.

Best tree for boots, bar none

I bought one pair of these for one of my AE Daltons just to test it out to see if it was worth it versus just purchasing a regular shoe tree. After testing both a regular AE full-toe tree in one pair of Daltons vs this Boss tree in the other, I can definitely say that the Boss tree is the way to go. It is easy to put in and take out, but most of all it maintains the full shape of the heel and shaft of the boot whereas the regular shoe tree was making the heel "pinch" in on the sides since it didn't have the volume to meet the full contour of the heel of the boot, almost causing creasing to occur. Will definitely be getting these for all of my boots now. Save the regular full-toe/split-toe trees for your shoes people.

    Perfect Fit!

Bought these shoe trees to go into my Allen Edmonds Dalton boots. The sizing chart made finding the correct tree easy and they slid in perfectly without needing to unlace the boot. The cedar smell is fantastic and the quality of the tree is top notch. Great addition to my boots - looking forward to extending the life of my boots with this simple insert. Thanks Woodlore! Keep up the great work.
