    The best shoe tree money can buy!

    If you’re shopping around for a set of shoe trees, stop right now and purchase the Woodlore Ultra Shoes trees. I own every single type of shoe tree from Woodlore and this style is leaps and bounds better than everything else... especially over the Epic Twin-Tube. The adjustable toe area and the full heel is unparalleled by anything else, and these can accommodate every shoe with any last (depending on your shoe size of course).     Absolutely great

    These trees are great. Fine woodworking. Nice brass details. Mechanically sound. Sizing of the large was spot on for my 10 1/2 D. Exactly what I wanted and an excellent value.

    Sizing

    As the proud owner of a 10D foot (borderline between M & L sizing), my only concern is that these combination shoe trees are not long enough. They do extend past the vamp, but I would like it if they extended further into the toe cap. They are sufficiently wide and of decent quality. Would buy again.

    Quality show accessory

    They do a great job filling out the toe box, vamp, and heel are of my size 11E Alden Grant lasts boots and my size 11D Alden Barrie lasts boots. There are cheaper shoe trees out there, but one lesson I’ve learned over the years is it’s better to just pay for quality. As they say, “But once, cry once.”

    The Best Shoe Tree

    Woodlore has quite a few options available when it comes to shoe trees. The best features a shoe tree can have is a two piece front, which, with the help of spring tension, will fill any size shoe, and a full, rounded heel (to prevent stretching & warping of the heel). There are a few models that feature the two piece front, but the Ultra wins out as also having a rounded heel. I started with the Combination model, but have been swapping them out with the Ultra, which is more substantial and which does a better job not warping the heel.

    Great quality and even better fit!

    These shoe trees are fantastic. They are well-crafted and are a perfect fit for my Allen Edmonds. They are absolutely worth the investment.

    Perfect for my Gore-Tex chukka boots

    I was unable to find moderately priced ($30 range) boot trees for non-western style boots anywhere!!! I spoke & emailed with customer service and was told my best bet for chukka boots would be the this style (the Ultra) b/c it provides support in the vamp area. The X-Large seem to be perfect for my size 13 chukka boots.

    Love them - but one thing...

    Love these. Ordered several and am happy. The ONLY thing I would point out is that previously I had received J&M shoe trees with the chrome knob, and was amazed at how effortlessly and ergonomically the removal of the tree from the shoe was. That was because the knob is about 2 inches forward from where these are! As you grab the shoe, you can sort of hold the shoe in the one hand while you rotate your thumb forward and wrap around the knob and push forward. Feels great, works perfectly. With this knob being at the absolute rear of the tree, that is not possible. Still looks good and I am very happy, but for this to be even better, I would highly recommend moving that knob forward. I am going to play with one with my drill and see if I can make it happen!
