    Not the same size, finished in China

    I ordered 4 pairs in size L and 1 pair in size XL. Every single left tree is physically smaller in terms of the wood shape than its right counterpart. Woodlore says I can replace them but also recommends adjusting the width with a screwdriver. I can adjust the left tree to match the right width, but it may still be slightly shorter- this remedies most of the size mismatch issue. In addition, these are made or finished in China, but I would much prefer to pay more for them to be made in the USA. The positives are the fullness of the tree, especially of the heel, and the adjustable width feature. I don't know if I will buy them again. Maybe if I can get assurance from the company they are the same size beforehand.

    High hopes, fell short (literally)

    I really wanted to love these shoe trees. I liked the idea of having added spring tension on the outside or throat line of the uppers. Unfortunately the trees overall are way too short to provide any forming tension in the shoe. I purchased XL shoe trees because I wear an 11.5. but once I push the shoe tree into the shoe there is no tension on the heel side. I have compared the size of these with XL shoe trees I have purchased from Allen Edmonds and these are significantly shorter. I also do not like the brass finish of the hardware on the trees. Brass hasn’t been a popular metal finish since 1992. Would prefer some finish options that are a little more modern.

    Great product but .....

    American made. Well constructed. Something you can pass down to the next generation. However, the only negative would be the carrier that is used to deliver the product. FedEx. The product sat at a warehouse near its destination for 4 days. I had to start an inquiry and then magically it arrived the next day after my inquiry. Not only that, but when it was delivered, it was placed at the end of the driveway by the road, and not left at the front door. So my 80-year-old parents had to walk down the driveway to retrieve it, which is dangerous because they live in a snowy climate.

    Great shoetree

    These are a very elegant looking shoetree. they really stand out in my shoe collection. First time buying this type but I am very satisfied.

    MEN'S EPIC TWIN-TUBE SHOE TREE (PAIR)

    I bought an XL and L as a "just in case" one size fits better than the other. At the price, it seemed a bit of a gamble, but I was able to test both sizes (not all shoes run the same size). On the matter of build and quality, I'd say I got my money's worth. The finish is not rough, but smooth. The cedar smell is present. The heel and toe are both solid pieces of cedar, not glue together sections. I'd recommend these shoes trees. I'm happy with my purchase.

    Favorite shoe trees

    These were the first pair of shoe trees I ever bought. Tried several other brands over the years but ended up returning them all since I was spoiled by the quality of these. Great fit, good action on the springs, and they smell great when new. The smell obviously fades over time, but they still keep my shoes shape well and they last. I've had my first pair for about 6 years or so and they're still great.

    Work ok but wish they went much wider

    Work well but had to put a longer screw so I could get it into the 4E range. Used wood shims between the toe pieces to make them stay “open” about 1/2 or so wider.
