These are very sturdy well-made cedar hangers which attribute most men look for in hangers. I usually buy shoe trees from Woodlore, but I've found myself in need of hangers for some odd trousers, so I thought I would try these for that purpose rather than for hanging shirts. I have most of my shirts folded anyway. These are perfect for hanging trousers, and I can always add a sport coat in the future. Highly recommended. Very good product. John M. Comolli, Esq.
These hangers smell amazing!! They are also sturdy and wide enough for my husband's wool peacoat.
These are good hangers for shirts and tops. The bar is only tacked with pin brads and not glued, so if you put something heavy like pants on it, expect it to pull loose. You can fix that with a dot of wood glue, or you can use the hanger for light goods only. Your choice. :)
Shipping from Woodlore was fast, packing great. Product looks really nice, but. . . the horizontal cedar bar (the pants-hanger) on one of the two hangers I ordered was missing when the shipping box was opened-- not as if it had broken during shipping, but simply nowhere to be found in the box. (The four pair of shoe trees I ordered seem to be fine.) It does make me wonder about quality control. Anyhow, will have to return to Woodlore for replacement or refund.
